another interesting mirror experience: each vision of the virgen looks almost identical to the women who had the vision (i.e. lupe, or guadalupe, looks just like the central american indian pesants who saw her, and each other one of them depicts the typical figures of the women of the region

the creation of heaven

until the modern christian death, we used to die and that's it. even the believers thought that was it. the soul to reunite with the body at the end of days. but nobleman first, later everyone, couldn't wait. so heaven was created. a place to kick for a while, a drop in center (for the good ones, but at first, for the ones that could afford it or were born VIP). suddenly a time space is created between death and the end of days. then, by contrast, hell. not by man, but by a fallen angel. few hundred years later, purgatory - where you could still pay off, with late fees and crazy APR. that was the first step towards the death of others becoming more important than your own.
